East Boston Loft Condos

Built in 1915, this building housed the printing press for the East Boston Times and other local newspapers for much of the 20th century. And as the newspaper industry changed, so did the needs and character of the surrounding neighborhood. Fast-forward one hundred years, and this historic printing press has been completely renovated and transformed into Printing Press Lofts.

More than just a place to live.

"A city is not an accident but the result of coherent visions and aims." When we renovated this 100+ year old building, we did so with a deliberate focus on what it means to live healthy in a city today. We created enjoyable outdoor space on the roof and added extra storage and bicycle racks in the basement. We installed the highest-efficiency ENERGY STAR appliances and windows. We also added an in-building recycling room, and used refurbished building materials wherever possible.
